Provided support for youth living with domestic violence or sexual assault experiences, and education for youth and parents regarding DV/SA both in house and around various schools in the community. Researched and assimilated various support and parenting methods dealing specifically with DV/SA situations to enhance healthy family practices within Ketchikan and surrounding areas.

Directed the Ketchikan Community Building Initiative in the organization and creation of a web and print based community services directory, with the goal of refining community service programs and their ability to meet community needs. With this project I directed a team of Publishing, Information Technology, and Design students, while balancing multiple priorities based on our client’s deadlines and adhering to a tight two semester deadline.
